Nestled in the upper Blue Mountains village of Leura, Bygone Beautys offers visitors
to the tearooms and showrooms a truly memorable experience – don’t forget your camera!

Apart from displaying the bulk of the World’s largest private collection of teapots
in the Treasured Teapot Museum, Bygone Beautys also offers for sale: estate jewellery
(gold, silver and diamonds dominate); antiques and collectables; contemporary quality
gifts are scattered throughout this emporium; and the tearooms serve the famous
Bygone Beautys Traditional Tea and Bygone Beautys Devonshire Tea.

On most days you will catch one of the proprietors Maurice Cooper OAM, better known
as The Teapot Man, serving customers at the front desk. Maurice will be easily recognisable
wearing a bow tie, and will probably be in the midst of selling a diamond ring to
a customer. Also, be on the lookout for another character of the Blue Mountains,
the other famous proprietor of Bygone Beautys, Ronald Hooper, primarily responsible
for most of the eye-catching displays and the one who commenced the teapot collection
decades ago. When Maurice and Ronald joined forces and Maurice matched Ronald’s
collection, their joint collection is now the World’s largest private collection,
and continues to grow. Both Maurice and Ronald, and some of the staff, are great
examples of Bygone Beautys!
